DIY Coiled Rope Planters

DIY Coiled Rope Planters

This one is pretty easy as long as you have the right tools!

What you’ll need:

  1. Rope (at least 6 ft. and can be found at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace, etc.)
  2. Planter
  3. Glue gun

DIRECTIONS: After your glue gun has been properly heated, apply a large dollop of hot glue to the rim of the planter. Hold the planter with one hand and carefully place the rope on top of the bead of glue (make sure it is as straight as possible all the way around). Continue adding glue, then rope, then glue, then rope until you reach the bottom of the planter. Just be careful to make sure the rope is as even at the bottom as it is at the top, otherwise your plant might sit crooked when you set it down. TIP ALERT! If your rope is coiled, unwind the rope when you reach the bottom of the planter. Cut one of the twists off so it’s easier to achieve a leveled planter. If you keep the rope coiled, one side will sit higher than the other. It’s easy! You’ll see!!
